Lyrics:
Whisper to me softly, breathe words upon my skin
No one's near and listening, so please don't say goodbye
Just hold me close and love me, press your lips to mine
Mmm feels so right. Feels so right.
Lying here beside you I hear the echoes of your sighs
Promise me you'll stay with me and keep me warm tonight
So hold me close and love me, give my heart a smile
Mmm feels so right. Feels so right.
Your body feels so gentle and my passion rises high
You're loving me so easy, you're wish is my command
Just hold me close and love me, tell me it won't end
Mmm feels so right. Feels so right.
Feels so right.
Ah, you feel so right baby…

    1. It’s not gone forever. Check out the band Midland, they’re pretty similar to this and very popular. Once country fans get together and simply stop supporting Florida Georgia Line crap, the record companies will be forced to recognize true songwriting.

  1. Reminds me of being a child. My dad absolutely loved Alabama and Oakridge Boys. Two of the best harmonizing country groups of all time.

Me too my parents use to always have pinochle games every weekend. And of course the record player would be on. I must of been 5 or 6. But I remember I felt so grown up because they would let me be in charge of changing records. It was Alabama, Sawyer Brown, George strait, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson , Randy Travis. I’m sure I’m forgetting some. But I think the only rock they would play is Meatloaf and Elvis. LOL. I seen a bunch of country bands live back in the 80’s and 90’s. I saw Alabama twice. And they’re as good live as on record. Seen Sawyer Brown. Randy Travis. My mom had MS. And she was a huge Randy Travis fan. Well he seen her at the end of the show up by the stage in her wheelchair. And next thing we know a security guard comes over and says Mr Travis would like you all to come back stage. He wants to meet you. I never seen my mom so Happy as that day. I couldn’t believe he took the time to do that. He signed a bunch of pictures for her and some CDs. And left us take pictures. Sadly she died in 98 she was only 38 years old I was 18. But we buried most of the stuff he gave her with her. All I know is that country music today doesn’t come anywhere close to what it was then. That was the greatest generation of country artist. And I don’t think there will ever be anyone close again.

    1. @William Chandler meaning NO disrespect of course but in this day in age you just have to be careful you know. Many Blessings to you and yours.

I drove a 18 wheeler with my husband back in the 80’s & 90’s. Needless to say we pulled over several times because of Alabama songs!!!! Great memories! He passed away in Feb of this year but we had 50 years together & we made them count!

    1. Yes! After all of these years, It does still Feels So Right! What a Band and what a song! Don’t make them like they did back then. Those songs help me.

This new crap doesn’t hold a candle to Alabama. Would love to turn the clock back to 1980 and hit reset.

I heard this song on a FM radio station today. I hadn’t heard this song in some 20 years. It took me a while to remember the artist and the name of the song. It brought tears to my eyes for some reason.

Songs like this was so meaningful back then. Nothing could ever replace the music I grew up with..and love it even more today!

    1. That’s my favorite part about music. It creates lifetime memories that take you back in time when he hear the first note.

    1. It’s funny that you say that. When this song came out people were saying, “I wish country music was still like it was before.” This was considered too pop for traditional country fans.
