This song requires unreal stamina. People don’t realize how hard it is to not just give up after the middle of the song.
Yes, He Bo. This song just starts to get going right about in the middle, and from there on, it’s no picnic!
Absolutely. There are good days where it feels right and then there are bad days where you just cant muscle throught. Problem is if you have a bad day lands on show day…
True lol
It’s refreshing to see an actual, dedicated vocal coach that demonstrates how to sing, and not just talk about the theory.
Liam Laing Thank you!
I love how everyone’s talking about how impressed they are with that iconic high note but I’m impressed with this whole thing. Absolutely amazing!! ??
Thanks cobean!
Nice profile pic
I’m not a singer – but I love watching people who know what they are doing and are good at it. So good. Captivating.
Thanks Alf Walker!
Your the best
Goosebumps muultiple times… Wow I’ve became such a big fan of you Sir!!! Bless your voice
That is so kind of you to say, Gury88!
Ken, you have the most amazing voice ever!!! This is the first time I’ve ever actually heard you sing and Damn, you blow Steven Taylor out of the water!!!!
You rock. You make us feel like singing is possible, yet your precision also communicates it takes work and lots of practice to sing at a professional level.
Your voice is godlike to my ears…thank you for this wonderful cover of Dream on…
WOW, this guy has an incredible voice!! ????????????????
The best version I have ever heard. Wow! Your voice is just amazing!
Thank you, Shade Slinger!
This band is amazing, been listening to them since the 70’s, great job bruh.??
?
This performance shows us how really talented Steven Tyler is.
@Christian Tabet it isn’t. At all. There’s no lag between his voice and lips that would indicate that. You’re either a troll or massively misinformed.
@Gary McCourt People who know how to sing can watch this and tell that he’s not lip syncing because you can see it in the larynx, jaw, tongue etc. In order to lip sync that accurately, it would take at least that much singing skill to move all those parts the right way
You are bad, bad man ???
Stupid comment. Take a hike.
@Gary McCourt he said live not alive!
Steven Tyler is one of the few classic rock singers that can still sing to this day. He can hit those high notes like a boss. Awesome Ken keep up the good work and Rock on brother
He can! Thanks for the visit!!
Those high notes are dope . Amazing cover
Thanks!
Ken sings incredibly difficult highs for about 4 minutes, then immediately reverts to his calm and soothing speaking voice, to spend a few minutes teaching. Incredible technical performer and amazing educator!
Thanks for listening!
@Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy, no, thank YOU for being awesome!
@Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy You are AMAZING!!!
I know Ken’s not looking for plugs here, but Tamplin is one of the absolute best rock albums of the 90s, with Scott Van Zen on lead guitar. Those two together were dynamic…
Thanks! Scott is a beast! Did you catch this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJoUSp0wOlI
wow!!!! Ken Tamplin Your tone is excellent and you have really good control of the high notes.
Classic song done well. Thanks Ken.
Wow ! Am really starting to wonder if there is any song Ken cannot sing. Incredible performance again. Your students are fortunate to have you as their teacher.
